Too Faced Summer Sale | Haul & Review

Hello once again! What better way to kick off the weekend than to have a beauty haul? This week I'm reviewing Too Faced! Too Faced is a cruelty-free makeup company that tends to lean on the girly side of things (which I'm all about) and is known to have high-quality products. I've been eyeing their products for some time and today I've finally got my hands on some! All these products were purchased by me during their End of Summer Sale which had products up to 71% off! They had some really great deals on limited edition and permanent line items. The sale is over now but there might be one next year! Anyways, enough rambling and onto the review!

Here's all the products I received!

Left to right: Bonjour Soleil Limited Edition Summer Bronzing Wardrobe, Smokey Eye Shadow Collection, & Beauty Wishes & Sweet Kisses Set
Free sample bronzer card and Lash Injection Mascara

The first item I picked up was the Bonjour Soleil Limited Edition Summer Bronzing Wardrobe from their summer collection last year. This was originally $44 but I snagged it for $20. It's a fairly large tin palette with a magnetic clasp (it's about the size of the Chocolate Bar palette) and contains three bronzers, a makeup guide, plus one of their synthetic Teddy Bear Hair flatbuki brushes. For some reason the first two bronzers have .14 Oz. each and the last bronzer only has .11 Oz. Not sure why that is but you end up with a variety of bronzers (a total of .39 Oz of product).
Left to right: Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer, & Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer
Here are some swatches I did. The first one on the left is the Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. This one is absolutely beautiful! It goes on so smoothly and is very buildable if you have a darker skin tone. It also smells like chocolate! It's not overwhelming and smells a bit like Nesquik. The second bronzer is the Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer. It's less buildable than the first one because it is slightly sheer, but it can be done. This is perfect for the summer because it gives you a nice sunkissed look with its bronze color. Just like the first one, this went on easily as well. The last one hardly showed up on camera but it was the Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer. This is definitely not a bronzer, however it is great for highlighting. It gives off a more gold color and is quite sheer.

Final verdict: I would absolutely recommend this palette! This has great pigmentation, none of the bronzers come off orange, they glide on easily, and they are easy to remove as well! It's not on their site anymore because it's from an older collection (I think they were selling this because they had some leftover) but you could maybe find it secondhand or from an overstock type of site. These are all permanent line products so if you can't find this palette you can just order one of these bronzers individually on their site. Love this palette!

Next up is the Smokey Eye Shadow Collection. I'm not sure how old this palette is (it's definitely in older packaging because Too Faced uses tins now) but they still have this available on their site. It was originally $36 but I picked this up for only $16. It contains three look guide cards and 9 eyeshadows, 3 larger pans .07 Oz. each and 6 smaller pans .03 Oz. each (a total of .39 Oz.).
Top row left to right: Firefly, Cloves, & Up In Smoke
Middle row left to right: White Lie, Nice Ash, & Smoking Hot
Last row left to right: In A Flash, Smoking Jacket, & Smolder
Onto the details. The bottom left is Firefly. It's a shimmery tan. Above that is Cloves and this one is a shimmery deep bronze. And the last one above that is Up In Smoke which is a matte purple/brown color. The middle one at the bottom is White Lie and it's a shimmery pearly white. Above that is Nice Ash. It is a shimmery gray. The last one above it is called Smokin Hot and this is just your standard matte black. Finally we have In A Flash in the bottom right. It's a bit lighter of a gray than Nice Ash. Then above that we have my favorite color of the set, Smoking Jacket. This one is a nice shimmery purple. The last one is called Smolder and it is a matte navy blue (thought it was a strange color to put in but it is gorgeous nevertheless).

Final verdict: This palette is incredible! When I think of a great smokey eye palette, this is it. Great neutrals and a few colorful shades that can still create a nice smokey eye look. All of these shades were very pigmented so little goes a long way for this palette. You don't need to use a whole lot of product. They glide on effortlessly and blend well. Sadly they don't have it on sale anymore so it's back to $36 on their site. I don't know if they sell any of these shades individually. Very nice palette!

Finally we have the Beauty Wishes & Sweet Kisses Set from their Christmas collection last year. This used to be $34 but I got it for only $17. It comes in this adorable tin but doesn't have a magnetic clasp like the bronzer palette does (it just closes like a cookie tin would). Inside you get a look guide, three eyeshadows from their Chocolate Bar palette (.13 Oz. total), two bronzers (.39 Oz. total), and a lip gloss (.05 Oz. total). In all you get .47 Oz. of product.

Middle row left to right: Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer & Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer
Last item: La Creme Lip Gloss in Naked Dolly
Here's the swatches (I didn't swatch the bronzers because they are the same ones from the Bonjour Soleil palette). To the left is White Chocolate. This is a matte white. I like this as a highlight color more than an eyeshadow. Next is Creme Brulee which is a shimmery warm bronze. Then we have Haute Chocolate which is sort of like Cloves from the Smokey Eye palette but is more of a brown than a bronze. These all  glide on easily and have that nice chocolate smell too! Lastly we have the lip gloss. It's semi-sheer and looks like a light coral or bright baby pink color. It's not super sticky which is always my big worry with a lip gloss. I was actually surprised by this one because it smells just like Christmas! I'm not sure if it's supposed to (I figured it was since it was from their Christmas collection) but it has this sort of festive pine smell. Sounds kind of weird but I love it! This will be great for the holidays. And even if you don't like the smell, it goes away after it sets.

Final verdict: This is a great palette for travel! You have eyeshadow, some contour, and a lip gloss to finish up. If you already have the Chocolate Bar palette, Bonjour Soleil palette, or the bronzers/lip gloss individually then this might not be an investment you want to make (since you'll already have some if not all the products in this already). I don't have the Chocolate Bar palette yet (would love to own it though) and I know I liked the bronzers so this was a good purchase in my opinion. This isn't available on their site anymore but just like the Bonjour Soleil palette I'm sure you good find it secondhand or from an overstock type site. And if you can't find it, then all of these products can be found on their site (eyeshadows in the Chcolate Bar palette and the bronzers/lip gloss individually).

Overall I think I'm in love. Too Faced has me hooked. I really want to try their primers, some blushes, and definitely more palettes (especially the Chocolate Bar and Sugar Pop eyeshadow palettes). Here's a link to their site, Too Faced Homepage, if you guys are interested in checking them out! Also, if you sign up on their site, sign up for text alerts, or share them via Twitter, Facebook, or email, you get a 20% off code! How cute is that? Plus if you spend $50+ you get free shipping!

Well that's all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed my haul/review! Let me know what you guys thought in the comments.
